Some good things are best left a secret because it won’t be long before others get wind of them. Such is the case with Sixty Nine Bistro, frequented by members of the arty and design-based crowd.

The outlet, located between the Times Square block on Jalan imbi and Pudu Jail, started business about Two months ago. It sits quietly in a row of old shop lots and if you drive too fast you might miss it altogether. Customers tend to look for the large potted plants and the few tables placed outside its red signage.

On the outside, the place looks like an ordinary stylish restaurant, but the atmosphere changes once you walk through its doors. The interior seems to be a tribute to the 1960s, with mod prints, artfully-designed furniture, beautifully intricate retro prints, vintage fabrics and several antique pieces.

Soft lighting give a romantic feel to the place, with translucent screens and plants used to divide the dinning area so that diners enjoy their own space and privacy.

To add to the cosy mood, old jazz standards are played in the background.This unique atmosphere and the eclectic mix of furniture and textures attract graphic designers especially to the place. The menu had expand to more choices of variety recently.

Besides that, 69 Bistro are well known of its horoscope and tarot card reading services.

69, 颠倒的两个符号，可以被解读为 [60 Night]，也可以被解读为[巨蟹座的符号]。白羊座的老板 Wilson Chai 本身是一名广告设计师，对奢华艳丽的60年代，有着一份莫名的向往。店内每一个物件和每一个设计，都是他亲手mix & match 的成果。

餐厅营业的4年前，构思，搜索和改造的行动便开始在Wilson的脑子里和家中进行。他陆续收集60年代的事物，然后，像调酒师一样，根据他对60年代的想象和诠释，在餐厅中，调出60年代的情调。

那么，69 Bistro和巨蟹座又有什么关系呢？不说你不知，这是一家一星座为卖点的餐厅，餐厅一个隔间里驻扎着两位[星座王子]，为客人作星座占卜。听说，王子还相当受欢迎。
